Ballislife DVD featured in latest issue of Slam Magazine

Congrats to Ball Is Life for being featured in the latest issue of Slam (last page). Besides the DVD, they also give props to the organization.

My personal props to Ball is Life for actually putting real production value into the content. There's been a lot of dvds and (good) online content but the production values on the products were mediocre at best.

I appreciate that a lot, every little thing we earn, such as your respect, and the fans and baller's respect, means a lot to me. I want to personally say, thank you to all of the people that helped put ballislife together. That goes to

Arek-
Downright put the editing part of ballislife on his back and carried us for the past year, and did practically that whole dvd by himself. Without you Arek, we would just be guys that collect footage and put like vda said mediocre stuff on the net and on dvd's. Not only has Arek helped with the editing portion, but he has made great strides in the aspect of networking with different music artists, and took the initiative to send these dvds to Dime Magazine which said they were going to do what slam did, but never did. And sent the dvd to Slam, whom now we do work for, idk what I'd do without you man.

Domino-You are a great addition to the hard work that we do here, I cannot wait to see what you do on the next dvd, which will make our first dvd look honestly like nothing. Your going to be a key player in making that happen.

Matt(zpro)-this guy filmed OJ Mayo's senior season at Huntington High, and although he hasn't done anything for us in a while, he was huge in getting his own OJ Mayo section on the dvd. Without him we wouldnt have as much stuff from the east coast on that dvd.

Bballinjc-I haven't talked to this guy in a while but he did a good job on the chicago section.

Justin-This guy is probably the silliest guy you will ever talk to if you talk to him. He didn't do anything with the dvd per say, but he's been huge in getting our name out in the Texas area and writing some great articles and blogs.

Afroze Khan- Made arguably the sickest dvd cover for a high school mixtape and this kid is only getting better with Graphics. Hope to see some sick stuff from you soon man.

VDa-Wasn't a major player in the dvd thing, or anything that you guys see that "we" put up, but what you see on this site, is what HE put up. He hooked us up with probably the best type of website that we could possibly have. This guy has done tons of work for the love of basketball, if you don't know, check his weblinks in our links section, this guy has a true appreciation for the game and I personally would like to say thank you and we would not really be what we are on the internet right now, without you. Thanks again.

To all of the ballers-

Simply put, without you guys, we'd be nothing. You provide the footage that we use, without your passion, intensity, and love for the game itself we would have nothing to show the world. We do this for the love, we do this for the passion, we do this for the same reason you get up in the morning and shoot 500 jumpers........When I traveled over 20k miles in a year and a half to get this footage, and only traveling more and more, you need to remember, this is my basketball, and ball is life!!!

yo how long does it take for the dvd to ship cuz i ordered it like 5 days ago

If you ordered it 5 days ago then it got shipped yesterday, which means you should get it in the next 2-5 business days (If you live in the US), if you live outside of the US it could take anywhere from 7 days to over a month
